Association of Depression and Anxiety with Shoulder Pain and Disability Index in Adhesive Capsulitis

Background: Impingement syndrome is a disorder of unknown etiology in which the restriction shoulder movements result inflammation joint capsule and its ligaments. Aim: To explore relationship depression anxiety among Patients Adhesive Capsulitis, correlation despair nervousness with pain disability index Capsulitis. Methodology: A correlational study was conducted 280 patients both genders from different Hospitals were taken. Questionnaire examined association determine rate Shoulder Disability Frozen patients. The scale Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale also included this study. SPSS v.26 analyzed data. Mean±SD presented quantitative variables. Results: Out classified as diagnosed capsulitis mean standard deviation age 49.75±8.19, Among 280, 33.9% males 66.1% females. This enumerates between SPADI HADS-A HADS-D significant at 0.01 level(2-tailed). Of FS patients, 62.5% had high risk 37.5% without anxiety.
